To help deliver activities in support of the work of regional IARC hubs, selected IARC Collaborating Centres are being established to focus on specific content areas, sets of countries or functions. In June 2018, the Martinique Cancer Registry was established as an IARC Collaborating Centre to help deliver activities in support of the IARC Caribbean Cancer Registry Hub.

CARPHA and the Martinique Cancer Registry signed a Memorandum of Agreement on December 13, 2022, to work together to strengthen cancer surveillance and cancer control in the Region.
